Currently a freelance reader and working on his own screenwriting projects.

James originally trained as an optician. He returned to university to pursue his passion for film graduating from York & St John’s University in 2008 with honours and a degree in Film and Television Production. Prior to graduation he acted as PA to director Peter Hunt on an independent feature film. Other experience includes running for Big Talk Productions and film school in the US on an exchange programme.
